What you need to know
- Three ways in
- Google, a Microsoft work account, or an email and password. You can add a password later if you started with a provider.
- Two-step sign-in
- Optional, and worth turning on for password accounts. Settings has the QR code for an authenticator app. Google and Microsoft accounts are already protected by the provider.
- Sessions
- A session lasts twelve hours. Role changes and removals take effect immediately, not when the session ends.
- Your email
- It identifies you and cannot be changed here. A support ticket moves an account to a new address.
Tip
Keep the backup codes from your authenticator app somewhere safe. Without them, losing the phone means a support ticket.
